This is a picture of some flowers I grew in my garden last summer! Gardening helps to appreciate God's gifts to us.
I took this photo from one of my gardens. I saw the frog sitting up on my rock waterfall; you know one of those little electric ones! It was only after I downloaded it onto my computer, that I realized the frog was actually checking on her babies. This is a rare find to see mother and baby interacting!! I was really blessed by this one! I love nature, it really demonstrates the power of God and His wonderful handiwork.
Blessings
We were at a beach last summer 08 and this seagull walked up to me cocked his head and waited there until I took his picture and the flew away! I guess he wanted a moment in the lime light :)
Psalm 69:34
Let heaven and earth praise Him,The seas and everything that moves in them.
We stopped off one day as we passed by this farm and asked if we could take some pictures. Love this horse! She is a beauty!!!
One thing I love to do is try taking pictures out the window of the car as we are passing by- this is one of them!
A picture I captured on the way to work one afternoon. Looks like the light at the end of the tunnel. Heavens entrance maybe? LOL - looks like it though.
I took this back in July. It was so beautiful, I wanted to remember the peaceful feeling it brought me!
Sooooo beautiful!! I took this sunset on the way home one early evening. It reminded me of the scripture verse that says, "Behold He is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see him..." What a day that is going to be :) "Even so come Lord Jesus"
This little critter decided to sit and pose for a Christmas card, after I dumped over the box and found him and his family taking residence in my Christmas decorations. Real Cute!!
My husband's sister was up for a visit last fall; we went hiking and stopped off at a farm for a hayride and then walked around a bit. I saw this little beauty just standing there looking up at me as if to say... "well, I posing for you, are you going to snap the shot or what? I gotta get back to doing the duck thing!!!" Who was I to argue! LOL, LOL...
This is a picture of the hotel at Mohonk seen from the top of the mountain.
We hiked from the other side of the hotel. Whew!
I found the end of the rainbow. The sad thing is - there was no pot of gold! Just a highway!!
The once World Trade Center, has been recycled from the buildings metals and transformed into this beautiful ship as a memorial to all whose lives have been affected by the horrible atrocity!
I was out running one afternoon and couldn't resist stopping to take this awesome silhouette picture with my phone camera... It reminded me of the passage in the Book of John- No darkness can stand in the presence of light !!
"In him was life; and the life was the light of men.
And the light shines in darkness; and the darkness
comprehended it not".
A new addition to our family! I am now a proud grandmother of a 3 month old fur puppy:) We are going to be studding this little gem, so anyone interested in the greater New Fairfield county, please let us know...
This is Cricket! Our newest addition to the family. He was helping me put together a message and was burning the midnight oil with me. I am happy to say that we finished the message before he drifted off to sleep:)
How cute is that! Don't you just want to love her up? I had to take that one!!! :) She is a real comfy hound.
My name is Cricket, I am a therapeutic pup! I visit nursing homes, because I love to make the elderly happy.
